    www.aetc.af.mil, Public DomainThe tutor-led A-10C Fundamentals of Navigation course consists of nine sessions covering the following topics:

    Session 1: Preparatory Evening -SRS-
    Session 2: Radios and Autopilots
    Session 3: F10 Chart, ADF, Bullseye
    Session 4: TACAN
    Session 5: Coordinates, CDU, Info Pages
    Session 6: Waypoints, Flight Plan Management, UFC
    Session 7: SOI, TAD, HUD, DIVERT Pages
    Session 8: Q-Codes, MGRS
    Session 9: Speeds, Visual Navigation, Scavenger Hunt (Test)

    Each session lasts about 2-2.5 hours and consists of a theoretical part, in which the tutor gives a presentation, followed by a practical part, in which the covered topics are practised. At the end, a debriefing takes place, if necessary with an evaluation via TacView. The dates of the meetings are negotiated between the participants and the tutor. Attendance at all dates is compulsory. Passing the final exam entitles the participant to take part in the next course.
