The tutor-led A-10C Basic Course consists of seven sessions with the following topics:
Session 1: Preparation Date
Session 2: Cockpit & Checklists
Session 3: Basic theory, first flight experience
Session 4: Landing
Session 5: Aerodrome & sparks
Session 6: Exam preparation
Session 7: Examination
Each session lasts approx. 2-2.5 hours and consists of a theoretical part in which the tutor gives a presentation and a subsequent practical part in which the previously covered topics are practised. At the end, a debriefing takes place, if necessary with evaluation via TacView. The dates of the sessions are negotiated between the participants and the tutor. Participation in all 7 sessions is compulsory. Passing the final exam entitles the participant to take part in the next course.
