The tutor-led F/A-18C Basic Course consists of ten dates with the following topics:
Term 1: Aircraft Performance
Term 2: Energy Management
Term 3: BFM as a Concept
Term 4: Offensive BFM
Term 5: Defensive BFM
Term 6: High-Aspect BFM
Term 7: Aerial Gunnery and Weapon Deployment
Term 8: Advanced BFM techniques
Term 9: High Altitude Flying and Fighting
Term 10: Review
Each session lasts approx. 2-2.5 hours and consists of a theoretical part in which the tutor gives a presentation and a subsequent practical part in which the previously covered topics are practised. At the end, a debriefing takes place, if necessary with evaluation via TacView. The dates of the meetings are negotiated between the participants and the tutor. Attendance at all dates is compulsory.
Those who want to participate register with us in the Discord and will be put on a waiting list. If there are enough interested people on this list and a tutor is available, the details of the course will be agreed upon together.
The review will take place at the end of the course.
