Intgrated Flight and Fire Control Computer (dt.: Integriertes Flug- und Feuerkontroll-System)

Da eine Abhängigkeit zwischen IFFCC und HUD bwesteht, schaltet man beim Einschalten des IFFCC automatisch das HUD mit ein.

Während der Entwicklung von der A-10A zur A-10C wurden die meisten Waffenkontrollen auf die MFCD's verlegt. Das AHCP enthält nurmehr jene Funktionen, welche nicht über die MFCD's gesteuert werden können (u.a.: den Waffenhauptschalter, CICU, JTRS und IFFCC).

Flight Control System

The Flight Control System includes:

• Primary flight control surfaces - ailerons, twin rudders, differential/collective leading edge flaps, differential/collective trailing edge flaps and differential/ collective stabilators
• The controls - stick, rudder pedals, flap elector switch.  
• Flight Control Computers - Two duplicate computers, A and B
• Hydraulic Actuators operated by dual Hydraulic Systems
• Electrical and Mechanical backup controls.

Standby Attitude Reference Indicator

A small artificial horizon.
