1. Overview
The Oculus Quest 2 (a product of the facebook group of companies and only usable with their login), which is not directly available in Germany due to data protection issues*), currently offers one of the best price-performance ratios in this device class.
The 3D display is quite impressive - assuming suitable graphics hardware. However, the virtual operation of the cockpit takes a lot of getting used to and is often awkward. Due to the closed construction, haptic devices such as joysticks and switch consoles cannot be operated optimally when using the glasses.
