| Affirm | Confirm / Agree |
| Negative | Negative / Disagree |
| Roger | Received radio message |
| Wilco | Will comply with orders |
| Say again | Repeat Transmission |
| Standby | Wait for more information / Pause transmission |
| Visual | Visual contact with friendly aircraft or ground forces; Opposite of "Blind" |
